Emotional addiction =Lust
People who have adopted Type 8 are action-focused, easy to command and lead, giving priority to achievement. The emotional addiction is Lust,, which, being unconscious, is justified with a dominating attitude and a self-fulfilling self-image. Everything around you has to be intense and challenging, in an attitude of"I avoid entering something but, when inside it, I put 100% effort in it.". The name Confronter comes from the ease with which they position themselves regarding what they want, expressing themselves in a direct and objective way, intimidating with their apparent safety.
The main negative consequence, this way of organizing resides in the difficulty in recognizing their real needs. Such detachment reveals insensitive people, attached to force and power. Aggressive dominators, become known as true roller compressors. They easily tend to exaggerate, disregarding what others think and feel.
>In companies, we find Type 8 usually linked to leadership. This is the typical profile of the megalomaniac entrepreneur, who grows rapidly. Their feeling for business and their self-confidence make them people who inspire growth and overcoming. Through direct and effective attitudes, they transform organizations quickly. But in their compulsion, they assume the centralization of power."When force comes on the scene, right goes packing."Or"It will be my way or no way."
For greater balance:
When Type 8 recognize their pattern of behavior as a way of organizing themselves and not what they really are, they are open to developing the neutralization of emotional addiction (Lust) and contact with themselves through the virtue of Innocence. This tool helps them to recognize what they want from themselves, no longer through power and dominance, allowing a greater integration of their feelings, thoughts and actions.
