Emotional addiction = Gluttony
People who have adopted Type 7 are mind-centered; they have the mental agility to deal with several things at once, giving priority to pleasure. The emotional addiction is Gluttony, which, being unconscious, is justified with the enthusiastic attitude and self-image of a skilled improviser. "I make lemonade out of a lemon." The name Dreamer comes from the great amount of ideas and plans, bordering on the impossible.
The main negative consequence , this way of organizing resides in the difficulty in recognizing their real needs. Such detachment reveals superficial people, who overload themselves with activities as a means of escaping emotional difficulties. Exaggerated optimism also reveals people who avoid displeasure, looking at the world with pink glasses.
In companies, we find Type 7 usually connected to an area where there is no routine and creativity is needed. Marketing, sales, planning and negotiation are some of the common areas. Their optimism and creativity are very useful in situations where the main theme is the search for new solutions. But in their compulsion, they are undisciplined and irresponsible, fleeing routine through manipulative arguments. They clash with those who are more rigid and want to follow the foreseen steps.
For greater balance:
When Type 7 recognize their pattern of behavior as a way of organizing themselves and not what they really are, they are open to developing the neutralization of emotional addiction (Gluttony) and contact with themselves through the virtue of sobriety. This tool helps them to recognize what they want from themselves, no longer through immediate pleasure, allowing a greater integration of their feelings, thoughts and actions.
Examples of Type 7: Jô Soares, Ivete Sangalo, Tatá Werneck, Renato Gaúcho, Elon Musk.
